Spring 2025 Session (4/2/25 - 5/28/25)


Orientation: Wednesday, March 26: 6:00-7:30pm

Location: Virtual (via Zoom)

Class Dates: Wednesdays, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 14, 21, 28 (No class on May 7), 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM

All-Day Retreat: Sunday, May 18, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM


Class Cost: We utilize a sliding scale tuition payment system. Participants can choose from three tiers based on their financial ability:

  • Scholarship Rate – $300: For those who need financial assistance to participate.
  • Regular Rate – $450: Covers the actual cost of the program.
  • Sponsorship Rate – $600: Helps fund a scholarship for another participant.

By offering flexible pricing, we aim to make this opportunity available to as many people as possible while encouraging those who can contribute more to support others in need.


Limited scholarships are available for those who qualify, please ask your instructor for more information.

Tuition is due at time of acceptance. If the class isn't for you, you can receive a full refund up until week two.

$200 may be refundable to you through your health insurance wellness benefit.

Please confirm that you are registering for the right session.

Please confirm that you can attend all scheduled class sessions, including the all-day retreat on May 18th.


Once you have submitted the application and tuition payment at the link below your instructor will contact you to schedule a brief phone interview to answer any questions you have about the MBSR course process and to ensure you're a good fit for the program.


Minimum of 10 participants are needed to hold the class.

Fall 2025 Session (9/10/25 - 11/05/25)


Orientation: Wednesday, September 3: 6:00-7:30pm

Location: Therapeutic Evolution PT, Stuyvesant Plaza, 6 Executive Park Dr., Entrance D, Albany, NY

Class Dates: Wednesday September 10, 17, 24, October 1, 8, 22, 29, November 5. (please note no class on October 15)

All-Day Retreat: Sunday, October 26, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM

2025 Mindfulness Foundations Series

The 2025 Mindfulness Foundation Series is a collection of online classes designed to support your well-being and deepen your mindfulness practice.

Designed for Beginners as well as seasoned meditators, join one or join them all. 


Each class is offered via Zoom, making it accessible from the comfort of your own space.

Donations help support these programs and are deeply appreciated, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Thursday, March 20 – Mindfulness for the Busy Professional and Mindful Communication
Explore practices to manage workplace stress, improve focus, and communicate mindfully through active listening and thoughtful responses.

Friday, April 25 – Mindfulness and the Body:

Explore practices that help regulate emotions, release tension, and maintain flexibility through a body scan meditation and mindful movement practices

Friday, May 23 – Mindfulness in Daily Life

Mindful Eating: Discover how mindful eating can transform your relationship not only to food but to everything and everyone you encounter. 

*please bring raisins or other small food item with you to class

Walking Meditation: Much of our time is spent in some type of motion. Learn how you can use your everyday movements as a mindfulness practice.

Friday, June 20 – Mindfulness for Sleep and Relaxation
Discover practices to calm the mind and body, fostering restful sleep.

    Join our monthly meet-up!

    The Mindfulness Center of the Capital Region along with Dr. Erin Walborn-Sterantino will be hosting a period of time each month to engage in mindful movement and meditation in a group format. Please pre-register for each session you would like to attend. 


    Virtual (zoom) monthly meet-up:

    This Zoom offering is for those who have completed the MBSR course or those with more extensive meditation practices. The class consists of 30 min of mindful movement and 30 min of meditation (a mix of guided and silent), plus 30 min of time for sharing. $20 per session. You can donate ahead of time by clicking the donate button below.


    Upcoming Zoom Monthly Meet-up Dates

    In-Person monthly meet-up is an offering for beginners or those with limited meditation experience. The practices are shorter in nature and will consist of approximately 20 min of mindful movement, and a 15-20 min guided meditation practice. Some time is left for brief teachings, along with question-and-answer period. Wearing a mask is optional, but required if you are not feeling well. Please bring your own yoga mat. Minimum participation of 2 is required to hold the class in person. The meet-up is held at the Redshift Recruiting building at 1930 US 9, Castleton, NY 12033. $20 per session can be paid online via the donate button, or in person.
